CAN I BRING MY CAMERA WITHOUT A PRESS/PHOTO PASS?
Yes! We are one of the very few festivals that do not restrict what camera equipment you can bring onto the site. Feel free to bring your camera (DSLRs included) with you on the day. (This applies to cameras only, not video-recording equipment).
WHEN AND WHERE IS THE FESTIVAL?
Slam Dunk Festival is an annual event, now held over two days on the May Bank Holiday weekend. This year both of the festival days are 14+ and will take place in:
- Temple Newsam, Leeds on Saturday 25th May
- Hatfield Park, Hatfield on Sunday 26th May
CAN I CAMP AT SLAM DUNK FESTIVAL?
No, Slam Dunk Festival is a 1 day festival so no camping is permitted.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO GO?
Both events are priced at £59 (S.T.B.F) for the festival. All festival days are 14+ with afterparties being strictly 18+, and afterparty only tickets are only available in limited numbers.

There will be parking onsite at the festival, there will also be shuttle buses running from the city centre to the site. Tickets and info can be found here.

Hatfield Park is a 22 minute direct train ride from King’s Cross Station, once you get to Hatfield train station the entrance to the festival is straight in front of you. It is also easily reachable by public transport or car (there is a large car park on site – advance tickets available from here). There are an equal amount of stages at both events, and all the bands will play both days (unless explicitly stated otherwise) Please note that both festival sites have both indoor (tents) and outdoor stages, and that this is an all-weather event. While we hope for good weather every year it is advised you bring appropriate, weather resistant clothing.
Please also note that each stage at each site has a certain capacity. We cannot guarantee you access to any particular stage at any particular time once the tent is full.
Violent or potentially dangerous activities (crowd-surfing / stage-diving / moshing) are undertaken at the participants risk. Slam Dunk as an organization does not condone any of these activities and will not be held accountable for injury/loss of possessions as a direct result of such activities.

WHAT TIME DOES IT START/FINISH? IS THERE AN AGE RESTRICTION?
The gates for the festival village will be open from 9AM and then the arena will open at 11AM with music starting just after 11.30AM. Headliners will be finished by no later than 10PM on both days, with afterparties finishing at 3AM (Islington afterparty runs from 11PM - 4AM).
All events are 14+ for the festival and 18+ for the afterparty. ID will be required.
WHAT IS THE AFTERPARTY and HOW DO I GET TICKETS?
The notorious Slam Dunk festival after-show-party is a club night held within, or near to, the festival site. There will be resident Slam Dunk DJ’s as well as guest DJ’s playing from 10PM – 3AM. The afterparty is STRICTLY 18+
There will only be tickets available on the day if they do not sell out in advance, which is unlikely!
You will need ID to enter all afterparty events – no ifs, no buts!
North: We are pleased to confirm that the afterparty will be returning to it spiritual home of Leeds University. Take the shuttle bus from the festival site to the city centre then its just a short walk up the road to carry on the party at the Students Union.
South: New for 2019, there will be two locations for the legendary Slam Dunk Festival afterparty for Slam Dunk South. It will be taking place at O2 Academy Islington and also at The Forum in Hatfield.

There will be a shuttle bus service running from the festival site to BOTH afterparties from 10pm until 2am. More information and tickets for the shuttle buses and afterparties can be found HERE.
CAN I BRING A BAG INTO THE FESTIVAL?
Yes! Bags smaller than the size of an A3 sheet of paper are permitted into the festival. Please note that ALL bags will be searched upon entry which may increase your queuing time.
WILL THERE BE DRINK/ALCOHOL/LOCKERS AVAILABLE ON SITE?
Yes. All venues provide a varying selection of bars/shops/eateries throughout the festival sites. Please note you are not permitted to bring in your own food or drink (reusable water bottles are permitted).
There will be vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options available onsite, please check our social media for updates regarding what traders will be at the festival this year!
Both sites will have either lockers or a cloakroom to store your belongings, but please note there is no guarantee these services will be available all day – once they are full, they are full!

WILL THERE BE CASH POINTS ONSITE?
Yes, there will be cash points onsite! Most vendors and the bars will be taking card and contactless payments, however, please bring cash if you are intending to purchase merchandise
CAN MY BAND PLAY / CAN I WORK / CAN WE HAVE A CLOTHING STALL AT THE FESTIVAL?
We appreciate your interest and support for our festival but we do not take any submissions from bands, we have all the crew we need, and clothing stalls are saved exclusively for our sponsors.
WHEN WILL MY TICKETS ARRIVE?
We have no control over when each individual ticket outlet sends out tickets. Outlets may send tickets as and when their stock arrives, however due to an increase in tout activity many choose to send a couple of weeks before the event. PLEASE do not panic if your tickets are not with you by this time, simply contact the ticket outlet you bought them with (not us!), who will be able to provide you with an update. If you booked via our website, your ticket provider will be See Tickets. In the very worst case scenario, if your tickets have not arrived by the day of the event, there are still measures in place to ensure you get in.
If you have booked a shuttle bus journey, you will not receive this in the post, instead, you will receive this by email closer to the time of the festival.
MY FRIEND HAS BOUGHT MY TICKET FOR ME SO IT DOESN’T HAVE MY NAME ON IT, CAN I STILL USE IT FOR ENTRY?
Yes, you can use any valid ticket for entry. ID is only checked at the wristband exchange for age purposes.
I HAVE BEEN TOLD TO COLLECT MY TICKETS, WHERE DO I DO THIS?
There will be a dedicated box office at both festival sites. This will be clearly signposted on all signage. Please follow the collection instructions from your ticket provider VERY carefully. They will probably ask you to bring ID and your email confirmation.
DO YOU OFFER COMPANION TICKETS FOR DISABLED CUSTOMERS?
Slam Dunk Festival offers a complimentary companion ticket for disabled customers (subject to availability). If you wish to attend one of the festival dates and require use of the accessible viewing areas (AVA’s), a complimentary companion ticket or assistance please follow the instructions below.
You will be asked to provide your DLA, PIP, benefits letter or equivalent, registered severely sight impaired card, assistance dog card or other evidence.

Please note that all venues are wheelchair accessible and while we will do our utmost to cater for our disabled customers we cannot guarantee that accessible viewing areas will be available at all stages. Where they are present access will be subject to capacity.
ARE THE SHUTTLE BUSES ACCESSIBLE?
Yes, the majority of the shuttle buses that will be running on the day are accessible. If you require an accessible shuttle bus please alert staff and they will ensure that you are fast tracked onto the next suitable vehicle.
